About Us

HISTORY
Robby and Angie Dawkins began weekly prayer meetings with a handful of people in a living room in Sandwich, IL in the fall of 1996. This group hungered for the experience of God's presence and power in a real way to equip them to reach out to the surrounding communities tangibly. The first official meeting of the Vineyard Aurora was in November of 1996, in Yorkville, IL. A move to Montgomery followed in June of 1997, and then to downtown Aurora in November of 1998. The group moved into its current building, a century-old mansion with a modern addition and parking lot in December of 2001.

What We Believe

Our beliefs don't come from a desire to explain a need for moral behavior, but from a conviction about the nature of unchanging reality - its origin, purpose, and destiny. Life, like anything else, is best understood when we refer to the manufacturer's instructions.

Meet the Pastors

Our senior pastors are the ones deciding what our vision as a church is and the priorities we hold. Find out more about our pastors Mike and Bogusia Smith and what their vision for our church is.
