Robby and Angie Dawkins: Senior Pastors
As pastor, I have a responsibility and a strong desire to keep us right in the middle of what God has for us as a contemporary church. The vision the Lord has given is to be an active part of what He is doing on the earth by being an active part of what he is doing here in Aurora.
Our strategic purpose is in working together to bring the light into darkness - meeting the needs in the world around us with the love, forgiveness, and restorative power of a very real and actively interested creator.
The key to our approach (and that of the Vineyard as a whole) is what John Wimber called 'doin the stuff.' We seek to model our approach after that of Jesus - moving in the supernatural power of God to bring restoration into the lives of those we touch. A meeting with God is not just a purely intellectual understanding, but it is a real encounter with the maker of all things.
In all this, our main desire is to bring people to our loving father God so that they are profoundly changed by knowing Him. Come as you are and check us out... |

John Kolodziej: Associate Pastor |
My dream...my life's goal...is to be totally consumed by the God Who made me, and Who loved me when I considered Him least...Who redeemed me and continues His ongoing work of redemption in my life. As a pastor and leader I want to help others to experience the deep, powerful & perfect love God has for them. To communicate how He loves us all, individually, just like He made us all, individually, and has both a plan and purpose for our lives. I hope, by openly sharing my journey through life, that God will break through the hurt and rejection we all experience in this fallen world. I'm called, and honored, to partner with God and His church to storm the Gates of Hell and rescue those held captive there. (Especially those trapped by their own hurt and brokenness.) I LIVE for each opportunity to announce His Kingdom has come, and demonstrate His power to break through the bonds that hold us back from experiencing a reunion with the One who made us and loves us still. I hope to find, train and release others to this most excellent lifestyle of one beggar telling another beggar- I found the Bread! |
