Salvation is free. Sanctification costs everything.

As the world grows louder and more divided, it is easy to get swept into the current, becoming the equal and opposite reaction to what we stand against. But Colossians 1 reminds us that Christ is supreme over all of it, and we are called to walk worthy of him, not of our own opinions or pride.

Holiness is not about crossing T's and dotting I's on your own strength. It is about drawing close to him through prayer, rejoicing, and trust, and letting him transform you from the inside out. As Philippians 4 puts it, do not worry about anything, but pray about everything.
