What kind of soil is your heart becoming?

Jesus' Parable of the Sower isn't just about hearing God's Word—it's about what happens when it lands in your heart. The seed is always good. The Sower is always faithful. But the question remains: are you hard soil where truth bounces off? Shallow soil where excitement fades when trials come? Thorny soil where competing loyalties choke out growth?

Or are you becoming good soil—a heart that receives the Word, protects it, and bears fruit with patience?

The harvest at the end of the age will reveal what we've allowed to grow. What's hidden today will be revealed then. Your heart's condition today determines your standing in the harvest tomorrow.

The one thing that purifies us is the blessed hope of Christ's return. When we fix our eyes on seeing Him as He is, everything else falls into place. That's not fear—that's love preparing us for eternity.
